Chef and his staff will feature a spectacular menu including Homemade Tomato Basil Soup, Fresh Strawberry, Romaine & Spinach Salad, Roast Beef with Au jus, Honey Glazed Virginia Ham, Crispy Fried Flounder, Yukon Gold Roasted Potatoes, Sautéed Spring Vegetables, Chef attended Omelet Station, Freshly Baked Biscuits with Sausage Gravy, Blueberry Pancakes with Maple Syrup, Fresh Fruit Salad and Assorted Desserts. 

All of this for only $22.95++ for adults, $12.95++ for children 6-12 years old and those under six eat free.  Make your reservations early as this is one of our more popular events.

Spend a special day with the family and enjoy our annual Easter Brunch at The Westlake Golf and Country Club on Sunday, April 4th. A delicious buffet will be served in the ballroom from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. 

The menu will include: Homemade Chicken and Dumpling Soup, Fresh Tossed Greens, Rosemary Roasted Pork Loin with Stuffing, Sliced Roast Beef, Crispy Fried Flounder, Omelet Station, Bacon and Sausage, Freshly Cut Fruit, Freshly Baked Biscuits with Sausage Gravy, Sautéed Spring Vegetables, Green Bean Casserole, Home style mashed Potatoes, Freshly Baked Dinner Rolls and Assorted Deserts.

The cost will be $20.95++ for adults and $10.95++ for children ages 5-12.  Kids under 5 eat for free!

Our Cinco de Mayo celebration is on Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 2:00—5:00 p.m. The cost is $10.95++ per adult and $5.95++ for children ages 5-12.  Please call the clubhouse to make your reservations by April 21st, 2010.  Please attend this event to reconnect with fellow golfers and take time to relax.

This year the Westlake Demo Day will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2010 from 2:00 p.m.—6:00 p.m.  All the major golf companies are planning to be here and I will have a full list of companies as the date approaches. 

If you are interested in new clubs, this is the best time to decide what is best for you. In addition to trying the clubs, I will be available for club fitting to make sure the clubs that you choose will fit your swing.

Hopefully this weather will soon pass and Spring will be upon us and the golfers will be able to play one of the best golf courses around. 

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce the new Westlake Social Committee.  We formed the social committee to get our membership base more active.  So if there is anyone that would like to participate in this committee or anyone that would like to share ideas with us, please feel free to contact any one of us. 

Our vision is to have full membership participation in social events throughout the year.  We know everyone is busy but we all need time to just relax.  We would like to have three to four social gatherings a year just so all members can reconnect.  Our first gathering is a Cinco de Mayo celebration on May 1st, 2010.  The celebration will begin at 2:00 and last until 5:00 with a taco bar, music, etc.  The cost is $10.95 per adult and $5.95 for children ages 5-12.  Please call the clubhouse to make your reservations by April 21st, 2010.  Please considering making this event to reconnect with fellow golfers and take time to relax.  We also welcome any suggestions anyone might have.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day here at The Westlake Golf and Country Club. Join us Saturday, February 13th for a spectacular buffet dinner from 6:00 until 8:30 p.m.

The menu will feature the following: Individual shrimp cocktails, Tender filet mignon carving station, Slow cooked Prime rib with au jus, Crab cakes, Grilled asparagus, Mashed potatoes, Broccoli casserole, Rice pilaf, Strawberry spinach salad, Seafood bisque and Assorted desserts.

6:00 pm Mingle | 7:00 pm Dinner

We invite all members and their guests to our first annual Christmas Member Mingle, Dinner and Gift Exchange.

This event will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a complimentary hour of socializing and holiday libations, and then Chef Lamont Young and his staff will be offering a delicious buffet style menu featuring Carved filet mignon, lump crab cakes, and Mediterranean stuffed chicken breast with a roasted red pepper sauce.

After dinner is when the real fun begins!  Each person attending will be required to bring an anonymous wrapped present (valued from $15 – $20) to be “raffled” off by our own celebrity Santa Claus.  But don’t get too attached to the present you choose, because the next person chosen will be able to play the “Grinch” and swipe your present away!

The cost for dinner is $22.95++ and it’s sure to be a lot of Holiday fun and camaraderie with your fellow members and their guests. Please call the

We are excited to announce The Westlake Golf and Country Club has once again partnered with Toys for Tots for our Sixth Annual Toy Drive. With ongoing economic challenges, the need in the region is extraordinary and growing. As a result, we will be collecting new, unwrapped toys to distribute as Christmas gifts to needy children throughout the surrounding communities. Collection boxes are located in the club and pro shop and will last until Friday, December 11. Toys must be new and unwrapped. Thank you for participating.
